While visiting family in West Virginia this summer, Matilda got to ride a horse for the first time. To say that she loved it is a complete understatement. Ever since, she has been obsessed with all things horse. So, a horse-themed birthday party was obviously in order. I made the horse poster (and another one without her name just in case you wanted to use it, too). I ordered it as an engineer print from my local copy shop for about $7. But, the horse piñata was by far Matilda's favorite thing!
Matilda is more than I could have asked for. She is a dream. Everything that comes out of her mouth is pure joy! She lives life to the fullest and works hard to do her best. She makes sure to give me extra hugs and kisses, cleans up when I ask, and tries everything on her plate without complaint.
As much as I would like to bottle her up right now, I love watching her grow and can't wait to see who she becomes. Watching her, as a healthy five year old, take on life is the best gift I could ever ask for.
She, on the other hand, has requested her own horse.
