Happy April! This month has always been a favorite of mine. I love the rainy days, the hope of spring, and the fresh air it brings. But, as you may know, over the last four years April has gained a special place in my heart. It is National Donate Life month.
I have some fun things planned this year to celebrate and bring awareness to the cause that saved my daughter's life. I will be sharing Matilda's story whenever I can, donating gifts to kids in the PICU, and goodies to the doctors and nurses at Mount Sinai, as well as speaking at St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC at the Rejoice and Remember event celebrating donor families.
