I was looking back at my archives, so that I could remind you of a few of my favorite St. Patrick's Day activities. I discovered that I have 17 (!) of them, which feels special since St. Patrick's Day is on the 17th.
Being of Irish heritage (not just like everyone else who is a little Irish on St. Patrick's Day, I am talking near 100%), this day has always held an important place in my life. But maybe just as much, I feel like March signifies a turning point. From the darkness of winter to the hope of spring, it is always a tough month to muddle through.
So, in the last few years, I have worked hard to fill it with as many rainbows as I can. To bring as much sunshine, light, and hope into our home as we await two very important things - Parker's birthday on March 31st and April which is National Donate Life month.
