Jess is as real as they get! She is honest with her struggles and enthusiastic about her successes. I sat with Jess at a dinner party and before the night was over my face hurt from laughing so hard!
How do you manage, cope, endure, and overcome your own cloudy days?
I take a step back and snuggle with my baby girl. There's just something calming about being a mom and holding your babe.
What advice do you have to offer those struggling right now?
Remember that your stronger than you think. You're going to get through this! You've made it through hard things before and you're going to do it again. Focus on faith, faith that it's all going to be okay!
Here is a bit more about Jess from her blog Positively Oakes:
I started Positively Oakes in 2012 for one sole purpose, realness. After blogging, blogging, and blogging again (for a total of about 7 years) with (several) different intentions and ideas, I decided it was time to get serious. I started by blogging about my family, our infertility journey, and life, and it slowly evolved into a business and a career, which I am forever grateful for! Here, I chat about my life and journey in motherhood, the home, and everything in between. If you’re a lady who loves family life, home decor, style, and a little bit of everything in between, you’ve come to the right place. Positively Oakes is a lifestyle blog where I chat about the good, the bad, and the ugly, recommend the latest and greatest in products, and, like I said, keep it real and honest with you.
