Have you heard about the High Line in NYC? It was an old rail line that has been turned into a beautiful walkway overlooking the city. It seemed like a fun place to take the kids exploring, so we hit it up when our friends were in town with their kids.
Although it was full of pedestrians, the kids were able to walk on their own, explore a little bit, and stop to make silly faces for pictures. I was surprised by the lack food stands, but the Chelsea Market is near by and there are lots of spots to sit and have a snack.
It is a must see in my opinion. It has been done so well, with grass areas, flowers, wall art, and cool architectural features. The perfect combination for adults and kids to enjoy together!
