With Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to celebrate with a little cake. Or, maybe a lot of cake! Thanks to my partnership with Cricut, I was able to experiment with their foil material and, I have to say, it is my new favorite.
Here is how you can make your own.
Supplies: Cricut, foil, card stock, transfer tape, dowels, tape, and cake.
Process: In the Cricut Design Space type out the words Mardi Gras in the Master of Break font, then select a banner, and duplicate each project three times resizing each time for variety. Choose corresponding colors and press GO! Make sure to follow your machine's cutting instructions for the foil material. Next, use transfer tape to place the words onto its corresponding banner, and then place the banner onto the card stock as the base. Last, tape on one or more dowels and stick into a cake or three!
Time: This project took me no more than 30 minutes to design and assemble all three cake toppers.
I was happy to partner with Cricut for this project. This post includes affiliate links - thank you for supporting my projects and the companies I trust!
