Simple Halloween decorations are my favorite. I remember making simple fabric ghosts like these with my mom as a child to decorate her classroom. They are simple enough and can be used with whatever you can find.
I used the leftover fabric from Matilda's ghost costume and some ping pong balls. I cut the fabric into a variety of square sizes to create different sized ghosts. After placing the fabric around the ball, I tied it with a string and double knot. Then, I put each ghost into a cardboard box outside and sprayed it with glow-in-the-dark spray paint. The paint makes the fabric stiff, which is perfect for making the best ghostly shapes!
I downloaded the large "scare" prints from the Caravan Shoppe and hung the ghosts from our fireplace mantle to create a fun and whimsical Halloween scene on a budget.
