This summer embodied such a shift for our family. A shift from an old, mice-filled rental house, to our own home filled with hope and welcome (and zero mice). A shift from denial to acceptance and action for mental health issues. A shift from fear and worry to comfort and freedom. It was a summer full of laughter, full of dancing in our new backward, full of new friendships, new dreams, and a new focus.
It was busy and gone before I knew it was here, but it was just what I needed.
