When something is done in kindness, it is intentional, it is thoughtful, and it is meant to be full of joy.
Above everything else in life, I hope to teach my children that kindness is everything. If we treat the earth with kindness, ourselves with kindness, and our neighbors, family, and friends with kindness, then the hard days won't be so hard or so lonely or so desperate.
But in this world, it can feel like kindness is lost amid self promotion, greed, and prejudice. So I teamed up* with Mari of Inspired by Familia to engage in an open discussion about how we could encourage not only our families, but our blogging communities to come together and #givelivelove, while celebrating kindness at its core.
What we came up with has me so excited! I don't want to spill all the beans, but I would love for you to follow along as we pin Acts of Kindness with the motto: Be the Change You Wish to See in the World by Gandhi.
