I have no explanation for this post - except, I thought it would be funny to dress dinos up like bunnies. Because you guys, dinosaurs want in on the Easter action, too. Obviously.
Here is how you can make your own.
Supplies: Dinosaurs (I got mine from the dollar store), spray paint, acrylic paint, paintbrushes, cardstock. mini pom-poms, and glue.
Process: I spray painted the dinos first. It took two coats - maybe because of all the scales or maybe because it was really cold outside and my fingers froze. Once they dried, I painted a couple teeth white, gave the T-rex a white belly, and painted ears on the triceratops. Then, I folded a small piece of cardstock in half and cut a long oval for the ears - attached to a rectangle to make a little hat for the other two dinos. I even put in a little slit so that it was ajustable. Last, I took some strong glue (I used E 6,000) and put a dob on each tail before placing a pom-pom and holding for a few seconds. Then I staged a little scene and played with the kids.
Time: Let's say 30 minutes for the embellishments, beyond spray painting and drying time.
And there you have it - dinosaurs dressed like bunnies.
