This last month has been really cold. I am talking below-zero-for-way-too-long kind of cold. I try not to complain because it is what it is. Now, that doesn't mean that it is always easy because it is not. But, we might as well find ways to make it fun, to seek adventure, and to learn something new.
Just like Matilda's situation. Teaching her to live life to its fullest, see the good in her situation, and keep looking forward starts today. What she sees and hears me do now can impact her future and that to me is more important than voicing my discontent.
The greatest gift I can give Matilda is to do my best to preserve who she is right now - full of life, full of happiness, and full of joy.
