As a kid, this was always such an exciting holiday. We would race up to the family-shared cabin and watch fireworks over the lake. My grandpa would make everyone ooh and ah in unison. I can picture him now in his tank top and skinny legs. It was the best.
This year we plan on eating fresh berries, making lots of s'mores, and indulging in a sparkler or two. How about you?
