So remember on Monday when I mentioned that Parker was on a park crawl? Well, this is what I meant. We wanted to take our time walking home from the hospital, after early morning labs, and make it fun for Parker at the same time. So as we walked along Central Park toward the Ronald McDonald House, we stopped at every single playground that we could find.
Leaving the first few parks was hard because Parker, of course, wanted to keep playing. I ended up bribing him with coins. But once he recognized the pattern of finding a new park, playing for a bit, and then leaving to find another - he forgot all about the coins and was able to enjoy the adventure of the hunt!
And by the time we got to 73rd Street, he was ready for some lunch and a little down time. It was the perfect way to see the city, have some laughs, and create lasting memories.
