I honestly felt lost and lonely after returning from NYC. I had never been a stay-at-home mom, I was without friends and family, and had just experienced four months of living in a traumatic (yet beautiful... but you know what I mean) environment.
Without this blog, I most certainly would have stepped off the deep end. I needed a routine, I needed to have goals pushing me forward, and I needed most of all to talk about what happened with Matilda. So when I say thank you for this year, I really, REALLY mean it.
And I want to give extra props to my BFF Melanie for answering my countless questions, telling me the honest truth, and supporting me one hundred percent. Without Mel, I would not have had my projects featured on Martha Stewart, Oh Happy Day, or Apartment Therapy.
Other highlights of my year include: interviews with foxnews.com, Small Fry, Freshly Picked, With Heart, and several others; the time I threw a party for Alt Summit; and, of course, making friends with bloggers I have admired for years.
