I had forgotten to mention that the ride back from NYC last Tuesday was breathtaking. Fall colors were abundant and bountiful. And this weekend was predicted to be the fall foliage peak in the Adirondacks. So on Saturday we took a scenic drive to an apple farm and enjoyed the fall festivities. It was good that we went when we did, because it rained the rest of the weekend. Which was fine. We got a lot done around the house and Parker helped Matilda paint her first pumpkin.
