I started with a leftover wood block from my mini family portrait project and some green chalkboard paint. I love that the Martha Stewart line created a few extra fresh colors besides the typical black chalkboard paint. First, I hot glued a satin ribbon to the back, and then, I traced, cut out, and hot glued on fabric to complete the project.
I love that this little chalkboard will be able to transition with Mia as she gets older. It would look just as adorable in a college dorm as in a nursery. Happy Birthday Mia, thanks for always being there for Matilda.
